Kare with Chicken- Japanese Curry

Kare Raisu is a very popular dish in Japan. "Kare" means "curry" and "Raisu" means "rice." This curry is slightly thicker than other Asian curries. One can make this with their choice of meat- chicken, pork or beef. You can even add vegetables like carrots and potato along with the meat. The roux or the curry-sauce mix is readily available in the international aisle of any grocery store and in all Asian stores.
