Methi Matar Pulao- Peas and Fenugreek Pulao
2 cups basmati rice
2 cubes fenugreek, frozen and thawed
1/2 cup peas
1 cup onions,finely chopped
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp garam masala powder
2 green chillies,finely chopped
2-3 cups coconut milk
4 tbsp ghee
Heat ghee in a pan. Fry onions till transparent. Add peas,green chilli,methi,ginger garlic paste, salt and fry for a minute. Add 2 cups rice, 2 cups coconut milk, 2 cups water and pressue cook till done. Serve with raita .
Note: Can vary the amout of coconut milk added depending on your taste. In that case, vary the amount of water accordingly.
